The two clubs were connected by a walkway, with a bar and restaurant serving both clubs. In the 1950s, the Rainbow Club was known for hosting Gardena's highest stakes poker games. Both of the California Clubs spread Pan (panguingue) and both used decks with common backs that reflect both Clubs. These playing cards are "Bicycle" brand, as made by the United States Playing Card Co. (USPCC). Note that the Ace does not use the typical USPCC code number (usually found towards the bottom of the card) that would indicate year of manufacture.

Note that this matchbook also advertises Primadonna Club in Reno, NV on the inside apparently because ownership was the same.
