Originally owned by H. L. Francis. First located at 1124 Nelson Avenue and in 1961 it moved to 701 South Highway 99, between 11th and 12th streets.

T. R. King sold more than 4600 of these small crown chips in five denominations to the Surf Club, 1224 Nelson Ave., Modesto, California, 92129 between 1959 and 1965.
