The attribution to the "Little Gardena Club", the address, and years of gaming, are traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998).

T. R. King sold 4100 of these small crown chips in four denominations to Joseph Wilkins, 2038 East Front Street, Selma, California, in 1966. The address was the location of the Wilkins Printing Company, owned by Joseph A. Wilkins. Selma is five miles from Parlier.
