| Opened in the 1940s. The club was raided in 1948 after undercover police offers infiltrated the club. G. C Ward, the owner/operator, was arrested (along with six others) for offering illegal stud poker. Poker chips were seized. James Collins was granted a card room license for the club in 1952 (see "Archive"). |
