Mason & Co. sold 2700 of these hub mold chips in two colors to Tod Waterman, c/o Hot-Cha Chip Game, Redondo Beach, California, between 4/28/1934 and 9/29/1935.

Tod Waterman (527 South Hobart Ave., Los Angeles) was arrested in Redondo Beach in 1937 on charges of operating a lottery, banking, and percentage game. He was acquitted. He was arrested again at 4733 Oakwood Avenue on bookmaking charges in 1938 (see Archive).
