Mason & Co. sold 2400 of these hub mold chips in five colors to George Bailey (partner Oscar Gill), 32 Turk Street, San Francisco, California, in 1939.

The address was adjacent to the Menlo Club, and was sometimes considered to be part of the club. Court testimony in 1937 identified Oscar Gill as operating a bookie operation above the Menlo Club (see "Archive").
