James Serraville was arrested for operating an illegal gambling game in San Francisco in 1938.

Mason & Co. sold at least 3600 of these hub mold chips in seven denominations to James Serraville, San Francisco, California in 1935. Ownership of the chips was later transferred to C. W. Thomas.
