Open: 1934, Close: 1950s

Hotel, cafe, and bar built and first owned by George W. Russell. He sold the hotel in 1944 to C. G. Irwin and W. W. Emison.

T. R. King sold 800 of these large crown chips in two colors to F. Pickrell on 8/18/1938. Very likely picked up from their Los Angeles office. Pfaender (2013), describes these chips as "attributed" to Happy Camp, California.

According to the The Gaming Table (2017, p. 450), citing company order cards, the Portland Card Co. (Portland, OR) sold the "GWR" SqInCr-mold chips in five colors to George Russell [GWR], Log Cabin Hotel, Happy Camp, CA in 1958. Use of the chips was later transferred to the Yreka Inn, Yreka, CA, also owned by Russell.
