On New Years Eve 2023 the Hard Rock ran out of their standard issue $1 chips due to all the poker and black jack table rake and ante drops. They pulled some unused chips from the vault and put them in play in the poker room. The chip is identical to CG171610 except it has a raised ridge starting at the red piping and extending to the edge of the chip. Same raised ridge on the reverse. No other denominations similar to this $1 were put in play.
