Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 1966

T. R. King sold 300 of these small crown chips in four denominations to Paul Baessler, who bought them for Gloria Walsh, at 6611 1/2 West 6th Street, Los Angeles, California, on 6/2/1966. The address was a single family residence.

These chips, which came with a small case, were likely purchased as a home game gift. The "G" and "J" in the Script font look very similar, and were sometimes used interchangeably. The initials were likely meant to represent those of the recipient.

Pfaender (2023) attributes these chips to Paul Baessler. This is likely based on the JRW monogram, and is likely incorrect. The monogram on the sc-mold chips were likely meant to represent the initials of Gloria Walsh (see above).
