In 1976, "Hope & Larry's Cocktails" at 520 Main Street was licensed for a single card table. The card room expanded and moved next store to 518 Main Street, and was called "Larry's Card Room". It was owned by Larry Prestininzi. Both the bar and card room burned down in 1982 (see "Archive").

The attribution of the L. Key mold hot stamp chips are traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998).
