| In 1882, the station equipment of Charbonniéres les Bains will be completed by a casino. The casino was opened in Juin, 11, 1882, being named Casino Kursaal.
After five years of a laborious operation it will be in liquidation.
During long time, since 1884, the casino was known as Casino de Charbonnières, despite its location in La Tour De Salvagny territory.
In 1988, when appeared the first slot, the Mineral Water Company, owner of Casino at the time, decides to change its trading name "Casino de Charbonnières" to call "the Lyon Vert Casino" unilateral decision . Than in 1989 the casino changed the name to Casino le Lion Vert and some time ago to Casino Le Lyon Vert ( nowadays also named as Casino de La Tour de Salvagny- Le Lyon Vert)
