Chip was pulled and destroyed early on because the color of 4 side stripes (seen at 2, 5, 7 and 10 o'clock at image on left) were the same shade of green used on the $1 chips. If a few $1 chips were mixed-in with a rack of $5 chips, they were being counted as $5 chips by the cashiers. When it was replaced, the center design colors were also changed, in addition to the side colors. The original versions were destroyed.
