Originally called the "Boulevard Club Card Room" and located at 2724 El Cajon Boulevard. In 1974, it moved to 4065 El Cajon, and changed its name to "Boulevard Club 4-0". It later changed its name back to "Boulevard Club". Owned by Frank and Irene Horton.

The attribution of the "S&S" TH&C chips is traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998).
