In 1880 the thermal establishment was bought by a society, whose president was M.Alexis Duparchy. This one constructed in personal name a casino in 1880, totally executed in wood. In 1896 Duparchy ceded the thermal establishment and the casino to a new society. This society totally transforms Bagnoles, developing it and placing it in the ranking of the best thermal baths of France. This same company builds a new casino in 1908 at the site of the old casino. Totally ransacked during WW II. After the second world war, only the cinema will remain in activity in the old casino, in state of advanced decrepitude. This exploitation continued until the definitive closure in 1989.The casino was destroyed and the Hotel du Beryl was built in the place.
