Owned and operated by the Barona Group of the Capitan Grande Band of Mission Indians.
As of 2024, it offered guests more than 75 tables of blackjack, 3 card poker, Pai Gow poker, Mississippi Stud, California-style craps, roulette, and thousands of slot and video poker machines. The minimum gambling age at Barona Casino is 18. It does not offer alcoholic beverages on the casino floor. An alcohol license would have required a 21 age limit at the casino.

Chips have a holographic security feature on the inlay: hold the chip one direction, little "linoleum squares" appear. Turn it the other way, and circles (with dots in them) show up instead.

Newly designed $25 chip, replaces the BG chips that were released only last year. Inlay is holographic, circles and squares appear as the chip is held obliquely, as with the older $25 and all other BG chip denominations of the new 2018 series. "Barona" is in a glittery dark red.
