| Two minutes from the railway station, on Boulevard Gendebien rises a magnificent modern building that attracts attention from people who arrives in Mons.
The splendid property is for a while the Casino de Mons. Extensive gardens with a Kiosque where pleasant concerts are given almost daily by a symphony orchestra ,and a large luxuriously coffee shop, make the Casino a center of most esteemed attractions, frequented by high society of Mons and the many tourists who visit the city.
One Cercle Privé (private gambling circle) similar to those from Spa and the Kursaal d' Ostend is installed in the sumptuous salons of the Casino. Unfortunately for the public, this Eden is accessible only to a chosen few elected. To be part of the Cercle Privé of the Casino de Mons, only accessible to foreigners, one only can be be admitted after a rigorous sellection.
