| In 1927 the Moreira Garcez building was constructed, the first "skyscraper" of Curitiba and all the State of Paraná. Initially planned to be a luxury hotel, it has become a business center, housing several commercial organizations. During the 1930s it hosted, in addition to the German Consulate, the temporary headquarters of the Casino Estancia das Mercês.
We do not know when the casino stayed in the building, and if and when it will have moved. |
