An exclusive invitation only social club originally founded in downtown Los Angeles in 1895. It moved to a permanent location built for the club at 545 S. Figueroa Street in 1924. The club building has 100 overnight rooms, and several dining and athletic facilities. A beach location at 201 Palisades Beach Road, Santa Monica, was opened in 1927.
The USPC Co. sold the "JC" inlaid plain mold chips in four colors to the Jonathan Club, Los Angeles, California (order J-47), on 2/12/1927.
