Pacheco was previously a highway patrol officer, until he was arrested in 1945 on charges of using his official capacity to engage in gambling conspiracy (see "Archive"). It became the "Antlers Club" in the 1960s, and the "Joaquin Club" card room in the 1970s (see "Became").
