Wilbur (Pike) L. Harris was the owner in 1948, and paid a $100 federal tax for operating "gambling machines" at the bar. Sold by Harris to John E. Schmidt in 1954. The licensed card room was advertised from the 1950s into the 1970s.Also referred to as the "Twin Gates Bar" and "Twin Gates Cocktail Lounge and Card Room".
