Originally owned by Peter and Barbara Mikacich. Peter Mikacich had previously been the owner of the "Gold Nugget Club", and a partner in "Georgian's" (both Sacramento, CA). From about 1990 to 1994, Mikacich changed the name of the card room to "Big Tomato Card Club".

The Limelight Card Club was renamed the Big Tomato Card Club from roughly 1990 to 1994. The card room very likely used the previous Limelight Card Club chips.
