5 Pacific Highway
Seal Beach, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 6/9/1950, Close: 1953

Licensed bingo hall and poker parlor owned by Jimmy V. Arnerich and William L. Robertson. Forced to close in 1953 when Seal Beach citizens voted by a narrow margin to ban all gambling in the city.

T. R. King sold more than 38,000 of these large crown chips in five denominations to the Airport Club between 1949 and 1950. Note: Significant color variations exist in these chips. About 22,000 were hot stamped using "old colors" (likely USPC Co. manufactured) large crown chips, and about 17,000 were hot stamped on "new colors" (T. R. King manufactured) large crown chips.
