Liquor store, bar, and licensed card room. Owned and operated by Art Gross in the 1970s. Originally at 320 J Street, it move to 15822 Sierra Highway in 1958. Also called the "Frontier Liquor Store and Bar". It was on the same block as the "Pioneer Club".

T. R. King sold 2000 of these small crown chips in four colors to the Frontier Club, 15868 Sierra Highway, Mojave, California, in 1959.

In 1965, rights to the chips were sold to Oscar Hammond, owner of the "Blackboard Cafe" in Bakersfield. He ordered an additional 1000 chips with slightly different color combinations.
