Opened by Vaughn Graham as a cigar shop. Also spelled "Thirty-One Club". The "Thirty-one Club" large crown chips were also used at "Tony's Pool Hall" after the "31 Club" closed. From San Jose Gambling (2020) Ted Ramos.

T. R. King sold 9,000 of these large crown chips in seven denominations to the Thirty-One Club, 31 Post Street, San Jose, California, between 1946 and 1953. Originally sent to I. F. Nolting and after 1950 to E. V. Graham, and after 1953 to Joe Vicari.
