131 South Washington Street
Sonora, California
Type: Card Room
Status: Closed
Open: 1962, Close: 1976

Eastman (1998) reported that it was owned by Don McDaniel. In the 1970s, it was operated by Eugene and Jewell Day. It became the "Nineties Club" (see "Became").

In January 1976, the Days were charged with (and later convicted) of arson, for a November 1975 fire that burned down the ”Louvre Bar and Card Room” which was located on the same block. The apparent motive of the Days was a desire to eliminate the competition (see "Archive").
