Originally operated by Samuel Tsuruta (in 1959), then Raymond V. Dorsey (1960-1962) and briefly by Alfred Brocchini (1962-1963).
T. R. King sold more than 3000 of the "RVD" large crown chips in at least seven denominations to Raymond V. Dorsey, Crystal Club, 147 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California, between 1960 and 1962. After the Crystal Club closed, the T. R. King cards indicate that Dorsey used these chips at the "Pacific Club", also on El Dorado Street in Stockton.
Listing (3rd from top) from the 1961 Stockton Yellow Pages, under "Card Rooms". Note that it shared its block with the "Monterey Club" and the "Golden Gate Club". |
