| Built by the architect Charles Badger, this restaurant opens in May 1870 alongside the new Casino ( Grand Casino de Vichy) to replace the Café de la Rotonde near the spa. It featured a floor that was removed in 1872.
La Restauration ( also named Cercle Restauration) , the largest coffee in Europe,has in 1898 opened a gambling room with petits chevaux game , which had a separate entrance.
It was completely renovated in 1985 (opening June 30, 1985), taking the name "Grand Café" ( Casino Partouche Grand Café). |
