The Amelia Belle Casino riverboat started its life as Bally's and was heavily damaged in Hurricane Katrina. The riverboat was refurbished and moved to Amelia, where it became the Amelia Belle.
In 2009, Peninsula Gaming purchased the Amelia Belle from Columbia Sussex Corp.
In November 2012, Boyd Gaming acquired Peninsula Gaming. |
