(Spinetti's) The Edgewater Casino Resort originally opened in 1981 in Laughlin, Nevada. It is located on the Colorado River. Today, the casino is 40,000 square feet. An early advertisement for the Edgewater described it as, “The largest and newest HiRise Hotel and Casino on the beautiful Colorado River. Fun and Games 24 hours a day!” At one time, the casino offered a $3 match play promotion to gamblers. Based on the amount offered, it was a unique marketing idea.
To honor its 20th anniversary in November of 2001, Edgewater Casino Resort celebrated by offering customers $15 a night room offers and a 20th anniversary commemorative casino chip. Today, the resort has a live entertainment venue called the E-Center. Restaurant options include a Stockman's Steakhouse, Capriotti's, Denny's and Dunkin' Donuts.

Mfr.: Chipco, linen surface. On the rim: 4 red lines and blue/white swirly pattern. Promotes New Years 1992, has view of casino and hotel tower on one side; casino name, "Circus Circus Ent." its then-owner, on the other. Phone number of 1-800-444-3011 now connects to Rugnation. This specimen has been drilled and used as a key fob, but its original purpose is unknown. Mere advertising - admission to a new years party - or a keepsake?
