Fantasy chips are not made by or for a casino, although they may appear otherwise. Fantasy chips are made by independent 3rd parties as
either counterfeits,
fakes
or souvenirs.
Fantasy chips are included on the ChipGuide to alert collectors that they
are not casino chips and to advise you to proceed with caution. Purchasing fantasy chips, especially those that appear to be real casino chips,
may lead to fraudulent sales when your collection is disbursed and encourages their continued production.

While the chips in this Series (#2) are all "tribute" chips, made many years after the Dunes was closed and torn down, it is interesting to note that the mold design ("Dunes") around the outer edge, where made with the original Dunes, House Mold dies, with permission from the current trademark owners.

1st, "Sami Sultan's Slot Club"
(This card was similar to the Mint's. Dollar machines had a ticket dispenser attached to them. Customers had to have a slot card in order to redeem the tickets. About 6000-7000 people joined the club overall, but only 9-10 pieces are known. Reverse is upside down.)
