"Paycheck Payout", NCV. 39mm, NCV, "Paycheck Party Machine" token. This item is a "Paycheck Party Machine" token, used at a specific slot machine (located by the Cashier's Cage) and outfitted with a coin acceptor for the "Paycheck Party Machine" tokens. In this instance, CG085637 and CG122449 could be used, as well as any of the "Paycheck Party Machine, anodized aluminum tokens from the Barbary Coast (CG101200 and CG106381), Gold Coast (CG085638), Suncoast (CG122455), South Coast (CG100607) casinos as the Coast Casinos, and briefly the South Point (CG149725) when Gaughan Gaming acquired the South Coast casino from Boyd Gaming and kept the Paycheck program in-place. The Paycheck Party Machine program was designed to increase patron traffic by offering payroll check cashing on Friday evenings to locals. The "Paycheck Party Machine" tokens (note that the South Coast and South Point changed the program name to "Paycheck Beach Party") were given out, one per customer, when a patron cashed their payroll check. The token could only be played in a special, Paycheck Party slot machine, always located near the casino's Cashier’s Cage. While each casino had a different colored token (The Orleans had 2 different colors), intended to only be played at the issuing property, in actuality, the tokens were interchangeable and could be used at any of the properties. Paycheck Party Machines offered a one-time play of a keno game, video poker game or video slot machine game, and every play was a guaranteed win. The minimum win being a free drink coupon. Other wins included Showroom tickets, slot play, restaurant comps, etc.
