| The Grande Hotel de Espinho (Hotel Casino) was opened in 1910, with a gambling room. Was located at Rua Bandeira Coelho ( nowadays Rua 19).
In 1926 it was bought by the owner of the Casino Chinês.
In 1927 with the legalization of the gambling in Portugal, only one casino was allowed in Espinho and the gambling room of the Grande Hotel ended. At that time an inventory of all the casinos in Espinho was made. The Casino Hotel had one roulette table and one Monte ( portuguese game) table. |
