Launched in 1967 as the Patricia, Amusement World is one of the gambling vessels sailing in the waters of Singapore and operated by New Century Cruise Lines. It was built to be a car and passenger ferry sailing in Northern Europe. The latest changes transformed the vessel into a gambling ship resulting in increasing the space of the main gaming area. It also increased the seating of it's Patricia's Restaurant to 250 seats and included additional refurbishing of other immenities for the guests including a state of the art video and game arcade for kids and adults. Amusement World was sold to New Century Maritime in 1978 and relocated to Singapore to replace the M/V Leisure World and was operated by New Century Tours Corporation. Former names include: Patricia, Pacific Star, Stena Saga and Stena Oceania. |
