This group owned 3 casinos, that used common euro chips: Schwerin-Klöresgang 3, Wurm-Passage, 19053 Schewerin, Waren Muritz (Muritz)-Strand Strasse 4, Am Hafen, 17192 Waren (Muritz) Warnemunde - See Strasse 18, 18119 Rostock (Warnemunde).
The casinos closed in August 5th 2013. The two casinos Warnemunde and Schwerin were no longer profitable , according to earlier data due to low sales. The license to operate casinos in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern expired in 14 May 2014. New operators were sought throughout Europe, but may be Mecklenburg- Vorpommern will be the only German state without casinos, which closed in mid May 2014. The Ministry of Interior is looking for a new European operator, but no interest from operators, especially German operators that apparently shy away from the market in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. |
