This token was not issued by Caesars Palace. It is a private issue made by Franklin Mint for use with a model slot machine they made for sale to their collectors. It's possible that the machine with a supply of tokens was offered for sale in the Caesars Palace gift shop.

Silver token, Caesars Palace, no location shown, not marked as sterling but COA for the International Casino token set in 1978 says it is (see separate submission), 44 mm diameter, partially reeded edge, no date marked but known to be 1978.
