The MV Grand Celebration of Bahamas Paradice Cruise Line replaced the Bahamas Celebration, which ran aground in Freeport Oct. 31, was severely damaged and the company folded. The new vessel has a 1,900-passenger capacity, compared to the Celebration's 1,250. sails out of Port of Palm Beach/Riviera Beach, FL.
The ship was purchased on November 21, 2014, one day before she was to operate for Costa Cruises.
In November 2020, the company confirmed she had been sold to an undisclosed buyer,[9] in January 2021 she was beached in Alang to be scrapped. |
