Originally owned in the 1970s by John and Rose Benner. Managed by Ernie Barber in the 1980s. The cardroom portion of the bar closed in the 1990s, but the bar still exists until the present (2021).

The address was previously the location of the "33 Club", which was granted a card room license in 1969.
