The bar and licensed card room was owned by Robert (Bob) W. Mason, until his death in 1955. In the 1950s, Al Williams and Forest Correll operated the card room in the bar. In 1957, it became the "Skipper's Club", which also had a licensed card room (see "Became").

Mason & Co. sold 1000 of these hub-mold chips in four denominations to 121 East Grand, Escondido, California, on 9/20/1946.
