In 1946 and 1947, T. R. King shipped 800 large crown chips in two denominations to H. W. Metz (A. F. of L.) at the Labor Temple at 805 E. Weber St., Stockton, CA. The "AFL" on the large crown chips stands for the American Federation of Labor.

(The other chips listed here may be attributed to the Stockton Labor Temple based on their initials. Labor Temples in other cities often had card rooms, and some of these chips may have been used in some of those card rooms.)
