Burlingame, California
Type: Other
Status: Closed

C. W. Rice shipped these chips (300 red, 200 black) to Byran Short at 1007 Burlingame Ave, Burlingame, CA. No date on the C. W. Rice card. A 1958 Burlingame directory identifies him as working at a Chevrolet dealership in nearby San Bruno.

In the past these chips were attributed to the "Bowring & Shipman Card Room" in San Diego (owned by Estes N. Bowring and Stanford W. Shipman). That attribution was most likely mistaken.
