Originally built and operated by Frank Portnoy and Jake Katleman in 1941. The T. R. King order cards indicate that Robert (Bobby) Garcia and Carl Cohen were also involved with or ran the club by 1947. The building later became an Elks lodge (BPOE Lodge 1905). Located near the border with Palm Springs, and sometimes identified as being there.

Garcia also operated the "Double OO Ranch" in nearby Morongo Valley, during the same time period, and later operated the "Silver Palm Social Club" in Palm Springs.
