Address, year, and attribution of the DiSq and DiSqSq mold hot stamp chips traced to Eastman's Illustrated Guide to California Card Room Gaming Chips & Checks (1998). (These chips were attributed by the Staeffler California Card Room Guide (2019) to the city of El Monte, California, but that is in doubt.)

According to Pfaender (2023), the Portland Card Co. (Portland, OR) sold the Square-in-Circle mold chips to the El Monte Cigar Store, Eureka, California.
