29 North Sacramento Street
Lodi, California

Status: Closed
Open: 1974, Close: 2000

Originally owned by Roy Lee Grose (RLG). Grose previously owned the "Friendly Tavern" and the "Louie the Greek Club" (1971-1974), a licensed card room, at this same address. Jack L. Morgan bought the club in 2000 and renamed it "Jack's Back Card Room", a bar and two table card room open until 2005.

T. R. King sold 1600 of these small crown chips in five denominations to Roy Gross [sic] between 1964 and 1967 for use at the adjacent ”Harold's Club” (31-33 N. Sacramento) and the ”Friendly Tavern” (25 N. Sacramento). The Gaming Table (2017) identify these chips as also being used at "Roy's Club" in the 1970s.

Listing (second from bottom) from the 1975 Lodi Yellow Pages, under "Clubs".
