| Casino du Lac was he second Bagnoles casino (named Casino du Lac or Casino Municipal) was inaugurated in 1927, and today the casino is still established in the same building.
The Casino du Lac was built in 1927 by American billionaire Franck Jay Gould.
He had come to Bagnoles for a cure around 1920. He was fascinated by Bagnoles and he wanted to associate this admiration with the possibility of playing, one of his favorite hobbies. He decided to build his casino and install it on the lake.
The casino has developed over time. In 1992, he acquired slot machines. He started to organize poker tournaments in 2011. The same year of 2011 is bought by the Emerald Group. |
