| The first casino (additional rooms of bathhouses), was built circa 1860, brought vacationers to its share of distractions: games and shows. In 1882, a violent storm, accompanied by a high tide destroyed the dam and the establishment therein.
The new casino, built in 1883, will consist of five main rooms. A gambling circle was established.. To be admitted, you had to be sponsored by a member and pay dues. This circle had little success. Destroyed during the Second World War, it will take five years for a new casino is built on a draft from Mr. Auvray, architect. It will be inaugurated in 1956 and reopened in 1958 under the direction of Mr. Cardi. (Luc sur Mer site)
