T. R. King sold around 4500 of these large crown chips in three colors to Red Switzer between 1945 and 1947. The chips were likely picked up from the T. R. King headquarters in Los Angeles.

The attribution of these large crown chips to the Rex Club in Jackson is traced to Armin Pfaender's California Chip Guide (2004).
