The "Horse Shoe Club", a card room, was at this address from 1950 to 1953. It was bought and renamed the "Airway Club" by Ray Johnson in 1953. Later sold to Pete S. Nielson and Marlin K. Gotchal. In 1958 it became the "Airway Cafe" (see Archive).

T. R. King sold about 3000 of these chips in nine colors/denominations to the Airway Club, 1317 N. Ventura Ave., Ventura, CA, between 1953 and 1955.
