| The first casino was opened in August 10, 1901.
In August 1, 1929, completely renovated in Art Deco style by architect Laulhé, CASINO MUNICIPAL DE BIARRITZ casino opens.
The casino was closed in October, 1983.
In 1991, the mayor of Biarritz, decided to rehabilitate the casino. The design by architect Francois Lombard is selected. This project only possible to ensure the elegance of Art Deco style of the Casino while harmoniously integrating new development to promote tourism development in the city.
On 23 July 1994, the casino is opened renamed CASINO BARRIERE DE BIARRITZ. |
