RAY (short for Raha-automaattiyhdistys, Finland's Slot Machine Association) has had the exclusive rights for slot machines and casino games in Finland since 1938.Casino Ray aims to raise funds through gaming operations to support the work of voluntary health and welfare organizations, Gra. Casino Ray's slot machines and games can be played at about 9 000 locations around Finland. Ray operates tables of Black Jack and Roulette in several bars and night clubs where these chips are used.There are three kind of Ray gaming rooms:
TAYSPOTTI ARCADES- have roulette, black jack, red dog and fast poker, as well slot machines. The Tayspotti are mainly located in shopping centers. They have 1-4 gaming tables and 25-100 slot machines.
POTTI ARCADES- feature a selection of popular slot machines. There are around 20 machines at each arcade. Are located in shopping centers and large supermarkets
CLUB RAY´S- have popular slot machines, roulette, black jack, red dog and fast poker. Club Ray´s have 4 gaming tables and 25 slots. Club Ray´s are located within restaurants.
On January 1, 2017, RAY merged with the government-supervised and -owned nonprofit betting agency Veikkaus. |
